8:45 - meet & walk with the Democratic Blue Wave just weeks before the election. We will provide doughnuts and bagels, coffee and soft drinks, as well as limited edition t-shirts - while supplies last - and plenty of water. If you already have a current campaign t-shirt please wear it. We want 100 volunteers to walk with our candidates (Renita Green for sure) or ride on the Cape County Democrat’s float (truck & trailer with straw-bale seating). Line up is in Capaha Park just off Perry Ave (north of the band shell) The park entrance is known as the Rose Garden entrance. We will also provide give-a-ways including candy, Mardi Gras-style beads, the ball caps from Cap America. Make your own sign with a positive message or carry a candidate sign. The 1.5 mile route proceeds east on Broadway to Main St and then south to the Hutson’s parking lot. Consider car pooling, arrive early.
