Cape Girardeau — County Democrats have opened an office located at 725 Broadway in Cape Girardeau. This space will be shared with Kathy Ellis, who is running for the 8th U.S. Congressional District as well as Renita Green, candidate in the 147th State House District.

The Grand Opening for the office will be held on Saturday, June 2nd at 3:00 pm and all supporters are encouraged to attend. The office schedule will be 9 am to 5 pm Wednesday through Saturday beginning next week.

"It is wonderful that the County Democrats have opened this space and I am thrilled that we get to be a part of it. For too long, this region has been left behind and not been given a fair shake. The message we all hope to convey through this office is simple: you deserve a fair shake. I look forward to beginning that dialogue," said Kathy Ellis.

"I am excited to open a space where we can gather to work for the People. Together, we will bring the voice of the people to Jefferson City," said Renita Green.

"This office is dedicated to honor our membership who have devoted themselves to achieving victory in the 2018 election-cycle.  We are very excited to have this space from which we plan to launch a Blue Wave of volunteers to secure a better future for all Missouri," said Jonathan Kessler, Cape County Democrats’ Chairperson.
