SEMO District Fair Parade: Cape Gir. Co. Democrats (Wear Blue) Participation Timeline:

7:00 am - Vehicle line-up and decoration

> We have two entries:#012 (an open top convertible) and #015 (a truck and 16’ trailer)

> Early volunteers needed to help decorate (supplies provided)

9:00 am - Parade sponsors want all participants lined up and ready to roll

> Democratic Congressional candidate, Randi McCallian, will ride in the convertible

> We can have up to 25 participants to walk or ride on the trailer - the more the merrier. We will carry signs with positive Democratic messages and candidate names, and distribute candy to children.

9:30 am - Parade begins at Capaha Park near West End Blvd. traveling west on Broadway to Kings Highway, then north to Cape Rock road, then west into Arena Park, ending at the Fairgrounds to open the Fair. Our booth number is ___ (to be assigned Friday night).

General Rules:

Wear BLUE to show your support for Democratic candidates and policies

Remember this is a family event with lots of children - keep our message positive and cheerful

Do not throw candy. It must be given directly hand to hand

Do not forget the sunscreen and consider wearing a hat

We will supply bottled water

Keep your cool. Don’t let the haters get to you. Move on with a smile
