This polling location is for the Democratic Presidential Primary Election. It is operated by the Cape Girardeau County Democratic Central Committee. The poll is open to all Missouri registered voters residing in any county, so long as the voter is not registered as a self-identified Republican.

The doors will not open to voters before 8am and they will be closed at 12pm. Any eligible voter who might be waiting in line by 12pm sharp will be allowed to vote, but no others will be allowed to join the line.

Since the polling location is operated by the party, visitors to the poll can expect the possibility of meeting Democratic candidates for any office or their representatives, as well as having access to candidate information, and information on party issues. Of course, votes will be cast privately.

In addition, for those interested in signing the petition to end the abortion ban (also known as the Pro-Choice petition), trained petition circulators will be present seeking signatures for placement of the initiative on the ballot in 2024.
